La Costiera Galleria was born from a love of the timeless beauty found throughout Europe, where art, architecture and interiors were created in harmony. From Italian villas to grand European estates, art wasn’t simply chosen to fill an empty wall. Artists were invited into the space, inspired by the people who lived there, and commissioned to create something that truly belonged.
This tradition has long inspired Joshua’s own artistic journey. His study of the Italian and European masters revealed not only extraordinary artistry, but a philosophy of creating with intention. Considering the architecture, the surroundings and the people who would experience the work.
It is from this inspiration that our Italian name, La Costiera Galleria, meaning “The Coastal Gallery,” was born. A reflection of Old World artistry and European elegance, brought home to the beauty and serenity of the Emerald Coast.

The philosophy behind La Costiera Galleria is deeply rooted in Joshua French’s lifelong relationship with art.
An artist, visionary and philanthropist, Joshua is redefining the role of the artist in 30A through a deeply personal, concierge approach rooted in tradition artistry and thoughtful design.
At the heart of his work is a simple belief: Art should transform how a space feels the moment you walk in.
Inspired by the serene beauty of the Emerald Coast, he creates masterpieces that bring elegance, beauty and calm into the space.
Joshua’s journey as an artist began at just three years old, when his natural ability for drawing first emerged. What began as an instinctive gift grew into a lifelong devotion to his craft.
For more than three decades, Joshua has devoted himself to classical techniques, composition and art history, studying the brilliant masters Monet, Michelangelo and da Vinci. Understanding light, shadow, realism, anatomy, structure and proportion. Principles that continue to shape his work today.
FROM GIFTED HANDS
to Timeless Mastery
Raised by parents who owned a prestigious interior design firm, he grew up surrounded by luxury homes, grand estates and high-end resorts, developing an early appreciation for sophisticated design.
He learned how color, texture, scale and form shape the feeling of a room, while his father’s teachings in Feng Shui deepened his understanding of balance, flow and how our surroundings influence the way we feel.
This dual foundation in traditional art and interior design gave Joshua a perspective few artists possess.
He sees beyond the canvas, considering the architecture surrounding it, the light within the room, the furnishings, and most importantly, how the space makes you feel.
With an artist’s eye, Joshua creates bespoke collections that bring together the character of the home and the story of those who live within it.

While Joshua brings decades of artistic study and experience to the canvas, Trish French is the heart and guiding vision behind the La Costiera Galleria experience.
The gallery is a natural extension of her lifelong calling: to uplift, inspire and create beauty that feels deeply meaningful, both in the homes it fills and within the community she loves.
Before co-founding the gallery, Trish devoted 20 years to her private therapy practice and transformational retreats, guiding individuals through defining seasons of their lives and helping them find healing, clarity and renewed purpose.
Working closely with high-profile clients also gave her a deep understanding of human connection, trust, discretion and the level of personal care expected at the highest tier of service.
At La Costiera Galleria, Trish is often the first point of contact, leading gallery management, client relations and brand vision. From the thoughtful design of each collection to the elevated level of care, her role is to ensure every detail reflects the refinement and white-glove service the gallery is known for.
At the heart of her philosophy is a belief that art should always feel personal, never transactional. To Trish, art is the soul of a home. The right pieces should feel connected to the people who live there, complement the natural flow of their surroundings and bring the space to life.
Together, Joshua and Trish bring these two perspectives into one shared vision: the artistry to understand the space and the human connection to understand the people within it.

Joshua’s experience leading one of the nation’s top-rated Painting with a Twist studios further shaped his ability to connect people through art. During his leadership, the studio earned more than 500 five-star reviews, while Joshua trained artists and guided thousands of guests through creative experiences.
Today, Joshua and Trish are deeply rooted in the 30A community, collaborating with local wellness professionals, luxury designers and realtors to create Wellness Art that promotes mental well-being, reduces stress and brings a sense of calm into the home. They also contribute to charitable initiatives supporting veterans, protecting children and helping families in need throughout the Emerald Coast.
